About
The BIONIC Foundation
Believe It or Not I Care
At The BIONIC Foundation, we believe that care is revolutionary. BIONIC stands for Believe It or Not I Care, and that phrase is more than our name—it’s our promise. We exist to remind youth and young adults that they are seen, supported, and deeply valued.
Our Mission
Our mission is to build confident, capable, and connected young people through tiered programs that nurture the whole person. We provide structure, mentorship, essential resources, and community engagement opportunities that help participants thrive—from early childhood through early adulthood.

Care shouldn’t be conditional. Every young person deserves to be seen, supported, and believed in.

Our Story
The BIONIC Foundation was originally founded by Marlon Crook Sr., whose mentorship efforts were driven by a simple but powerful belief: every young person deserves to know someone cares. That idea—Believe It or Not I Care—became more than a message; it became a movement.
Today, under the leadership of his son, Marlon Crook Jr., The BIONIC Foundation has grown into a full-scale youth development organization. With structured programming across eight core pillars and four age-based tiers, BIONIC now supports young people from early childhood through early adulthood—equipping them with tools, mentorship, and real-world support to help them thrive.
Our Values
-
Compassion: Every program starts with care and empathy.
-
Consistency: We show up, follow through, and grow with our youth.
-
Empowerment: We equip young people with tools—not just talk.
-
Community: We believe real change happens together.

Our Pillars of Impact
BIONIC’s programming is built on 8 core pillars that address the social, emotional, academic, and practical needs of today's youth:

Each pillar is tailored to meet youth where they are — across four age-based tiers — ensuring relevance, impact, and real-world application.
